Owens Residence

Based on the client's desires, this new construction home implores a more modern approach to the traditional homes seen within the surrounding community.  This project has introduced a style we refer to as "California Contemporary", which makes use of natural redwood siding and colorful accent stone walls. The home's design features sloping rooflines and a staggered footprint. The west-facing facade features 3-story windows which open the views onto a park setting beyond and serves as the main entry from the street. Other features include many eco-friendly design elements, such as the white Hepalon roofs and a geo-thermal heating and cooling system.

Cushing Residence
The Cushing residence provided an opportunity to design a new home for one of the most unique sites in Glen Ellyn. Highlighted by DuPage County Forest Preserve land on three sides and a private entry at the end of a cul-de-sac, this "Coastal Cottage" design embraces its guests upon arrival and welcomes them to a center entry, with panoramic views throughout the home. The outdoor spaces encourage gathering on wrap-around porches, with views to the woods beyond. A rotunda porch opens to a tranquil pond and water feature. Additional spaces at the rear of the house offer exceptional outdoor living including a pool, for the ultimate entertaining experience with friends and family.

DiCianni Residence

This "1950's Modern" was updated to reflect today's lifestyle. By choosing a cleaner color scheme and dark accents, this home gained a more linear facade. The home's footprint was increased and reworked to allow a more desirable entry sequence and to lighten the curb appeal. The second floor addition provided the owners the space they required and created an updated contemporary feel.

Travers Residence

This  "Southern Colonial" is the end result of homeowners who loved their neighborhood, but not the house they were living in. This young growing family opted for a complete rebuild of their original tri-level home, which was no longer functioning for their family's lifestyle. The interior design includes a Southern France flair, while maintaining a cozy family-friendly environment.
